The wait is over, for us to have to wish upon a star, to be featured in the world renowned XXL Freshman magazine. We have some very talented and gifted Kings and Queens throughout the city, and on the outskirts (Maryland and Virginia), and Passion gon make sure they’re recognized, acknowledged and giving the same respect and Praise as any other artist, that just so happens to be featured.
DMV Stand Up – We Winning will carefully use the most famous and sought after platforms on IG, such as DMV_Scoophall, DMV_Scoop, DMV.411, DMV_Culture, DMVHoodzandNewz, Hoodzndnewzmedia, Events DC, DMV Up Next TV 301, DMV Up Next, DJ Reddz, The Crank Corner, DC Stamped, DC Vybe, and WPGC, to showcase and highlight our stars; putting emphasis on their up and coming masterpieces (singles, EPs, mixtapes or albums). and also we’ll be giving credit, where credit’s due. for any and all projects already released.
To add, we have some really good comedians and dancers in the DMV area, and they’ll be applauded as well, and all of this is done, in an effort to curve and deter the pointless disturbing violence, that’s going on in our city and the surrounding areas, it’s heartbreaking, uncalled for and Prayerfully, DC Stand Up – We Winning will point our brothers and sisters in a different direction, once they see their counterparts getting a shout out in our monthly book, it’ll inspire and encourage them to really focus on and perfect their craft/niche, so that they’ll be next up.
Another reason, that DMV Stand Up -We Winning exists, is because of how hard the industry makes it for our talented and gifted individuals to break through on the scene, and have a chance to become millionaires; when they’re just as good or better than those who have already reached the top. Our aim, is for our book to reach the masses and for our phones to ring off the hook, from talent scouts all around the world, and we can finally say “Mama, look at me… I made it… Your baby is on TV” or the big stage, whichever comes first.
With all that said, remember this, YOU determine whether or not you’ll get your chance at, first being featured in our city book, that has the potential for growth in your life. Then, eventually move on to bigger and better things. Now, start today, becoming the BEST version of you, that you can be. Don’t allow your dreams to pass you by, your sky has no limits, you can do anything you want to do, as long as you have pure determination and dedication period. I’m actually a living witness! Who would’ve ever thought crazy ass Passion would be living her best life, as a retired author and entrepreneur? If you would have asked the masses some years ago, they would have assumed I’d be dead or doing life by now. However, me and God changed that narrative and the entire course of my life, and so can YOU. So, let’s get get get it, and bring all of your aspirations to fruition.
